Join us for a delectable and artful celebration as we launch the much-anticipated community cookbook for the Taste of Art Program! This cookbook is the result of a unique partnership between our local businesses and a selection of works within LUAG’s collection of nearly 20,000 objects. Attendees will receive a copy of the cookbook and participate in an evening that promises to be a feast for the senses, combining the culinary and artistic worlds in a unique and delightful way. Program partner and culinary art historian Maite Gomez-Rejón will join us for a discussion of art, community and connection in the spirit of the “sobremesa.” "Sobremesa" is a Spanish term that doesn't have an exact equivalent in English, but refers to the leisurely time spent around the table after a meal, engaging in relaxed conversation, savoring drinks, and enjoying the company of family and friends.
