The Diversity and Inclusion department is providing up to $2,500 to eight (8) Community Tennis Associations to support a 10-12 week summer intern from a local college/university. This grant program has three main objectives:

*Develop a strong, diverse pipeline of talent within the Texas tennis family

*Provide a meaningful internship experience that meets the students’ goals while simultaneously contributing to the needs of the CTA

*Cultivate relationships with local universities

USTA Texas will assist the grantee with creating an internship description and project plan, support cultivating relationships with local universities, and assist with recruiting a diverse candidate pool. Application deadline is February 28, 2019.
