Thank you for your interest in joining the Teen Volunteer Council at the Livonia Public Library! To apply to become a member of the Teen Volunteer Council, please fill out the following form, and one of our Teen Services Librarians will reach out to you via email with more information. The Teen Volunteer Council is open to all teens in grades 8-12.

Expectations - Time Commitments *
Teen Volunteer Council members are expected to make a good faith effort to attend at least 6 of the 12 meetings each year, held the 1st Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. Teen Volunteer Council members are expected to notify a Teen Services Librarian of which meetings and service project dates they will and will not attend, as far in advance as possible.

Expectations - Behavior *
Teen Volunteer Council members, while participating in service projects and other volunteer duties, are acting as representatives of the Livonia Public Library and must abide by the following rules of conduct: Arrive punctually to meetings and service projects, be respectful of others and of Library property, dress appropriately in clean, comfortable attire suited to volunteer work, use polite language, and keep voices at a level appropriate to setting.
