Admission Criteria: What constitutes a “good fit”?
Students need to be between the ages of 16 – 21
Must have completed all grade nine and some compulsory grade 10 credits
A willingness to work independently in and out of class
Able to be successful with the level of special education support we offer
Application Process:
On the day of your registration appointment, please bring the following with you:

□  A completed, signed and dated Application Form
□  A copy of your  recent Credit Counselling Summary, if possible
□  Birth certificate or passport
□  Health card
□  2 pieces of ID confirming address

At registration, please be ready to fill in additional forms and agreements related to contact information and board policies.

If you are accepted, you will be informed of the welcome assembly date/time and timetable pick-up.

1. The information you have provided is collected under the legal authority of Section 265 (d) of the Education Act R.S.O. 1990, and may be used for administrative purposes related to school programs and records for determining eligibility for attendance.  Questions should be directed to the Principal.
2. Transferring schools could affect your eligibility to participate in sports.  SOLE will not provide proof of attendance or eligibility to play sports to students who are not attending or progressing at a satisfactory rate.
3. Falsifying information on this form will result in your transfer back to your home school.  Admission to SOLE is considered to be conditional pending receipt and review of the student’s records from their previous school.
