Our planning committees are looking for Students, families, staff or community willing to record themselves reading a picture book on FB that can celebrate, bring awareness, and highlight leaders and the history of special themes throughout the year!



January 2022: Arab American Heritage month
February 2022: Black Lives Matter Month of Action in Edmonds
March 2022: Women's History month
April 2022: Celebrate Diversity month
May 2022: Asian/Pacific Islander/ Native Hawaiian American month
June 2021: 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride month
September 2022: Hispanic/Latinx/Chicanx History month
October 2022: Disability Awareness
November 2022: Indigenous/ Native American Heritage month
December 2022: Allyship

Videos will be shared on Facebook on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month that you selected.
You will need to provide the following information and be able to email us a copy of the video.

You are also welcome to suggest a book you own, we will have books available for those who need to borrow a book to read.

Your video will need to be submitted one week prior to the week you select.
