Village Consultation - Millennium Clock area
Penyfford, Penymymydd and Dobshill Community Council took on a project to upgrade the area surrounding the Millennium clock in the heart of the village.

The original designs, whilst impressive felt like they would be far too expensive (circa £27,000) in the current financial climate, we agreed as a council that we would look at the designs again and try to propose something that fits the project aims whilst minimising the cost of delivery.

Our strategy is to not raise the precept, so this is our new scaled down design for the improvements to the millennium clock/memorial garden area which will be completed within the agreed £10,000 budget.

We want to hear how supportive you are on moving forward with this project!

The close date for the consultation is Friday 29th March.

Proposed design
The proposed design of the Millennium clock contains a change to the seating area so that it faces the clock, along with shrubs and bushes surrounding the grassed area, removing of the slated bed and turfed instead.
