Volunteer application: Kaiāwhina*
*Kaiāwhina = Assistant volunteer.

Before you apply, please make sure you've read this: http://www.wclc.org.nz/volunteering/

Please fill in your availability and the sessions that you are interested in below. Once you have completed the form your name will be added to our waitlist. We are very lucky to have a surplus of people wanting to get involved. Due to this you are likely to be on the waitlist for some time, depending on which shifts you are available for.

Volunteers are selected for training based on their availability and our need.  If you are available for our Lower Hutt office your wait will likely be shorter. We also prioritise the hiring of volunteers from Māori or Pasefika backgrounds, in order to best meet the needs of our communities and honour our Treaty obligations. If that’s you then we encourage you to please get in touch.

Moving between services or offices will occur at the discretion of staff. If your situation changes and you are no longer able to volunteer, please update us.

Kia ora!
