AWG Mentee Form 2022-2023
Please answer this form if you are interested in having a grad student mentor in the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department. We will be pairing up mentors and mentees based on subject interest, personal background, and level of desired involvement. The form is a bit extensive, but we want to do the best possible job matching people up. Feel free to leave any questions blank if they do not apply to you or you rather not answer.

You will meet with your mentor as often as you both decide to discuss any questions you have about grad school, research experiences, field work, and careers in geology. They will serve as your mentor for the full academic year (unless you graduate prior to Spring quarter). If you already have a mentor from last year and would like to continue with them, please fill out this form again so that we have a record of this. Thank you! Please fill this out by October 28th.
