Our organization is the Education Center. Our mission is to uplift the community through education. Our facilities is at West Covina Christian Church on 1100 E Cameron Ave. West Covina, CA. We are a charter of Rotary Club 222340, and approved and recognized by West Covina Unified Board of Education and work in close partnership with special assignment teacher Cynthia Okamoto and Principal Sylvia Fullerton of Cameron Elementary School.

We provide free tutoring to help your children excel in their school work, life their spirits, and motivate them to succeed. Tutoring is absolutely free of charge, however, you MUST commit to attending all 6-weeks and arrive on-time as your children will be assigned personal 1-on-1 volunteer tutors who drive long distances to help your children. If you have excessive absences, you will be asked to forfeit your enrollment in the program so that we can have space to enroll other children in need.

We will be beginning our tutoring for Fall 2021 on ___________. It will be every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:00PM. We will be tutoring in-person only, indoors. We will require face coverings in compliance with LA county policy. We will comply with LA county COVID policy as the year progresses and make adjustments as necessary.

Each new volunteer should fill out their own application. If you were a volunteer from the previous 6-week section, your information is already on file, and you will be contacted directly. You don't need to fill this form.
