Working Group Application Fundraising
Starting the new year with good resolutions?  - Join the Fundraising Working Group!

Congrats - you just opened the door for multiplying your skills in the Fundraising Working Group and being a part of a passionate team and thereby contributing to oikos and our great community!

Become a part of our Fundraising Working Group and help oikos build lasting partnerships with a diverse set of potential partners! You can develop new skills, gain fundraising experience, work on project development, strategy and in a medium-term, facilitate the transfer of knowledge to our chapters. You will directly involve in our efforts of building lasting partnerships with a variety of potential partners. After the challenging year 2020, we want to focus in 2021 on securing funding for 2021 and 2022 as soon as possible. We have considered that we do also wish to test alternative fundraising approaches to achieve this goal. Finally, in 2021 we also want to implement a well-functioning donor management system. Besides, we will further work on project development, strategic considerations and in the medium term, make our knowledge more accessible to chapters. Depending on your prior experience, you could even take the lead and represent oikos international towards potential partners.

If you are interested in these topics, you should not miss the opportunity to learn about these and a lot more by contributing to our "Fundraising Working Group".

No previous qualifications required. Practical experience in the field of Finance & Fundraising is beneficial but not obligatory. We are here to learn!

In this form, you have the chance to state your motivation to be part of this experience, which role you'd like to take, the time commitment you can offer and your experiences & skills that might contribute to your suitability for the purpose. Remember: for us, motivation counts even more than knowledge -  do not hesitate to apply if you don't have any. We're all learning! It would also be beneficial if oikos alumni also wanted to apply. Your professional experience is precious and always welcome.

Please keep in mind that minimal commitment is for one year and roundabout 2-3 hours per week on average.

The application process will run from 01.12.2020 to 28.02.2021, and you will hear from us as soon as possible.

Do not hesitate to send your questions to mike.brodersen@oikos-international.org.

Thanks for taking this opportunity!

Mike Brodersen
- oikos International Vice-President for Fundraising -
