Farmingdale Parent and Community Member Climate Survey 20/21
Dear Farmingdale Families,
Social-emotional learning is an important part of our students' education while at Farmingdale. Students who regularly practice social-emotional skills are shown to have improved academic achievement, better attitudes about school, and reduced depression and stress. Farmingdale works hard to help build our students' social- emotional skills. Some of our initiatives to improve our students social-emotional learning include an active School Climate Team, active Student Climate Teams in grades 3-5 and Student Council in grades 6-8, participation in the Week of Respect each year, participation in daily morning meetings, anti-bullying and SEL programming for homeroom and health teachers to utilize, as well as other lessons and activities embedded into our curriculum. To assess the success of our initiatives, we want to get feedback from our students and families about the impact of these programs. Please complete the survey below by Monday, May 24th, to provide us important family feedback regarding our programming and climate of our school.
Thank you!
