A chance for young jazz bands up to year 8 to share jazz with each other. Bands will get helpful feedback and encouragement from ARA Jazz graduates at the end as well as the chance to play together at the end!
We ask bands to try to make it to the whole event for maximum benefit.
We realise that this year it is the same week as the Schools' Music Festival (this is the first time the Music Festival has moved into Labour Weekend week) but hopefully this doesn't negatively impact the school jazz bands or players too much as it's only roughly 1-3pm.
Our preference would be to have it run from 1-3pm but if you absolutely can't transport your students during school hours, please indicate and we will hold two sessions. (1pm-3pm and 3-4pm). We are able to start at 12:30 if we need to start earlier.
The free Early Childhood show will be before lunch from 10:30am-11:45am in the same venue.
