The POWDER-RENEW project is planning to do another Mobile and Wireless Week (MWW) event during the Winter of 2022/2023. As we finalize our plans we kindly request your input on
when to have this event.
MWW will be a weeklong in-person event on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City, Utah. We expect participants will arrive on the Sunday prior to the start of the event, which will run through Friday afternoon of the chosen week. The "target audience" for MWW is motivated graduate students, who would be exposed to wireless and mobile networks and ongoing research in this domain, as well as how the POWDER platform can drive existing and future research. This event will include lectures/talks, and significant hands-on exploration. Attendees will also team up to perform a hands-on mini-project during the course of the event. (See tentative schedule below.)
We anticipate receiving support from NSF which would allow us to offer travel grants to students from US universities attending the event.
To help us select a week that would work for most prospective attendees we request that you provide the input requested below. (We would appreciate your input by Friday, September 23rd.)
