CHiL Program Afterschool Mentor Application
HandsOn Suburban Chicago is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Our team will begin onboarding new volunteers this summer, and volunteering through the CHiL Afterschool Program is anticipated to begin the first week of October.

Under the direction of program staff, volunteer mentors will facilitate social and emotional learning activities and assist their charges in completing schoolwork.

Please note that the application process requires a reference check and criminal background check. Training is provided and consists of a self-guided online course with a graded final assessment. An orientation will be provided both in-person and virtually prior to the program start date.
