Culture and Nonverbal Communication
Nonverbal Communication represents a way of exchanging messages without the use of words (e.g. appearance, clothing, personal space, facial expression, gestures, touch, tone etc.) This communication depends heavily on the cultural context of an interaction. These cultural differences create special obstacles and opportunities for becoming more competent communicators.

Objectives of Training:
1. Discuss how culture affects the different types of nonverbal communication.
2. Share the challenges or obstacles this has created for interactions.
3. Identify areas of opportunity to encourage communication that is more competent.
