The St. Charles County (SCC) Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Healthcare program is looking to add new partners to expose student associates (high school juniors/seniors) to different healthcare career paths.  Our goal at SCC CAPS is to immerse associates in a multitude of healthcare settings alongside professionals, so they may find where they fit.  

One of the key components of SCC CAPS is observational rotations.  This is a one-on-one shadow opportunity.  Associates will rotate M/W from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm and T/Th from 7:30 am – 10:00 am.  If you accept an associate at each time that is 4 times per week, but never consecutive weeks and never 2 associates in one day.  However, we will work with whatever you can provide!  

And, all of our associates have completed the necessary paperwork/documentation to serve in a voluntary capacity at any BJC Healthcare and SSM Health facility, including a drug test, 2-Step TB test, and background check.  The associates have also received BLS and HIPPA training.

Rotation weeks:  TBD - starting in early November through early May, but only 10 weeks total (and not consecutive weeks)
