Career Explorers is a free 2 day career exploration camp for students entering grades 6, 7 or 8 in the fall. Camps will be offered in Advanced Welding, Advertising Design, Automotive, Crime Scene Investigation, Culinary Arts, Coding & Game Design, Entrepreneurship, and Navy JROTC. Students will not be accepted into more than two sessions as space is limited. Acceptance will be based on those first to submit a completed application and space availability.
While our career explorers are immersed in hands on learning about concepts and skills in a given career field, they must be able to practice safe behavior, listen to and follow teacher instructions and work in small groups and/or independently. Students who are unable to do so, may be removed from camp.
Registration opens June 1, 2022 and closes June 30, 2022. Students will be notified by email of camp acceptance. Information about dress code, drop off and pick up, and other camp details will be included with acceptance notification.

Session 2: Thursday & Friday, August 11 & 12: Choice of one career path: Advertising Design, Culinary Arts, Engineering Design, Navy JROTC
Session 3: Monday & Tuesday, August 15 & 16: Choice of one career path: Advertising Design, Child Studies, Coding & Game Design, Crime Scene Investigation, Entrepreneurship, Navy JROTC
Session 4: Wednesday & Thursday, August 17 & 18: Choice of one career path: Advertising Design, Engineering, Navy JROTC
Since your child may only attend up to 2 sessions, If you seelct all four sessions on the form, your child will only be enrolled in the first two available. Example. if you selected Session 1: Advertising Design, Session 2 Culinary, Session 3 Child Studies, Session 4 Navy JROTC, your child will be accepted only to Session 1 and 2 providing space is available.
