Explanation of this test
NOTE: This test is mainly targeted at students who are in the Hokudai level 1 Japanese group. This is because it is easier to see how learning is influenced from a clean slate (new learner) than someone already several years in the learning process. However, if you would like to participate regardless, feel free to do so!

As explained in the Line group, I am doing a simple survey on individuals who are learning Japanese through online means in coronavirus, and will later take this data to compare to a different group. I want to test not just language ability, but psychological aspects of this like motivation. Once again, thank you so much for participating in this experiment.

NEXT SECTION: TEST
Please press submit to send this information. When you press submit, a new link will be generated that is a timed test. It is very simple, just a few questions, should take ~2 mins. This test consists of: 2 questions on katakana/hiragana, 10 random JLPT n5 past questions, and some advanced questions from higher levels of JLPT. You are free to skip questions you don't know by answering "I don't know." The time limit is 3 minutes + 1 min to write names / email, but it should be straightforward.

This is mainly to get a general idea of my class, and how hard/easy I need to structure lessons.

Once again thank you for cooperating.
