Stage One is committed to equality of opportunity ensuring everyone is treated fairly and equally irrespective of age, gender, sexuality, race, religion, disability or socio economic status. We are continually working to make sure that we are doing whatever we can to deconstruct any barriers that people may face and aim to train and represent the whole community of UK producers and champion diversity in all its forms.
We are an inclusive charity and in order to continue and improve this, we would like to collect personal information and statistics. We therefore ask everyone who wishes to engage with Stage One to fill in the following form. The more information people provide, the better our monitoring and actions in response can be.
The information is used to track equality, diversity and inclusion data of applicants, to understand and improve our engagement, shortlisting and interview processes.
This form is completely separate to all application processes and your responses are not considered in any way in tandem with you application. Your direct response is only ever seen by Stage One's Administrator, who is not involved in any way in selection processes.
All data is stored securely by Stage One and individual responses are never shared. Individual form responses are kept for a maximum of 6 months. Information for each opportunity is collated for further analysis and reference, with no data traceable back to individuals.
Each question is mandatory to answer, but each question has a 'prefer not to say' option. Please note that the provision of this information is completely optional and you may opt out if you desire, but we would really appreciate you filling out this form in order to make sure that we can do what we can to make sure that the theatre industry is widely represented.
We understand that often most of these questions are more complex than ticking a box. The language we have used aligns with the language used by our funders, so we can report back to them clearly. If you have any questions or comments there is a space to do so at the bottom of this form. You can also contact enquiries@stageone.uk.com or 0121 75576737.
