Join us for an intimate discussion with Lance Bartholomeusz (General Counsel and Head of Legal Affairs Service, UNHCR).

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Lance Bartholomeusz is the General Counsel and Head of Legal Affairs Service at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). He manages a team of 25 professional lawyers and 3 administrators, based in Geneva, Nairobi, Pretoria, Bangkok, Budapest and Copenhagen to provide general legal advice on UNHCR operations. Before joining UNHCR in 2016, Lance was the Director of Legal Affairs of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), where he worked for 12 years, providing strategic and legal input for UNRWA policies and operations.
