About Us: Elevated Thought is an art and social justice 501(c)(3) organization based in Lawrence, MA. We develop spaces for BIPOC youth and communities to engage and understand art's liberating power. Through creative youth development, beautification projects, public outreach, and paid opportunities for BIPOC creatives, ET actively addresses forms of systemic injustice.

Program Description:
SJ Fellows will have the opportunity to work with and learn from our Social Justice Strategist and Community Organizer for the duration of one school year. The main tenets of the Fellowship include social and political education, organizing training, and building community with other Fellows and ET Apprentices. Over the course of the program, SJ Fellows will have the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice by identifying a topic they are passionate about and working to create change it with the support of our staff.

This is a paid opportunity! Fellows will receive a stipend for the participation. Transportation is also available for students @ Lawrence High School.

Program Duration: September - June
Days: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday (Thursday optional)
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
