C-CPR is a recently formed charity.
Our purpose is to educate Canadians about police professionalism. This may sound a little boring but in fact all of our work involves engaging with Canadians and seeking experts in police training who know there is a better way to train police recruits and fill their toolbox (so to speak) with 21st Century skills like emotional intelligence. Or fill there toolbox with knowledge of the different cultures in Canada. Check out our website at c-cpr.ca for more.
We need volunteers who can take on short time-limited tasks of a few hours with fairly short notice. These short tasks could be developing some social media graphics. Posting social media to promote webinars. Planning and executing a webinar or creating a newsletter or enhancing some pages on the website are other possibilities.
We also need volunteers who would be prepared to do regular work on larger projects over the winter. These tasks could involve consolidating recommendations from various inquiries into policing onto a spreadsheet or phoning a list of members to encourage the renewal of their membership.
