About CFPCM: Children Facing a Parent’s Cancer Month was founded in 2018 by Kesem and is observed annually in January. This recognition month raises awareness of the more than 5 million children facing a parent or caregiver's cancer in the United States.

While there are many avenues of support for cancer patients, the children of those with cancer do not have the same support to help address their needs.

The good news? Help is out there.

This January, for Children Facing a Parent’s Cancer Month, we can work together to ensure these kids have the support they need—and the childhoods they deserve.
