Two-Year College/Technical School Scholarship application
The Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing is proud to offer two $750 scholarships to students of Broomfield. The scholarships are available to all students who meet the eligibility requirements and are pursuing a two-year degree, but priority will be given to applicants who exemplify the Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self’.

The scholarship award winners must agree to release of information regarding the scholarship and their qualifications.

A. Eligibility Requirements
a. An applicant must reside in Broomfield, Colorado or attend a High School located in Broomfield, Colorado.

B. Two-year College/Vocational Scholarships
a. The applicant must be accepted at a two-year college or vocational/technical school which offers a certification or degree upon graduation.
b. Documented proof of enrollment in the institution will be required.
c. The location of the college or institution does not need to be in Broomfield.

C. Selection Criteria
a. If applicable, the student must be in good standing at their high school.
b. Two letters of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s character and quality are required with their application.
c. One of the recommendations must be from a teacher or work supervisor.
d. Applicants should demonstrate Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self” through community service to others at school, work, church, etc.

D. Additional Information
a. The Rotary Club of Broomfield Crossing may request that the scholarship award winners attend a Rotary meeting during the first year of having received the scholarship to provide an update on their educational pursuits.

To be considered for this scholarship, we require two recommendations, one from a teacher/work supervisor and one from a non-teacher/supervisor ( i.e. a pastor, businessperson, neighbor, service organization).
