Concourse Club Art & Photography Show  (Jr/Sr High Student Entry Form)                            
September 7 and 8,  2019
Sacred Heart Church Hall Third & Lafayette Ave Palmerton PA

Jr/Sr High Students as of  May 31, 2019 are eligible.  A student may elect to participate only in the Adult Show but must complete the Adult Entry Form and pay the entry fee.

Requirements for all accepted work:
1.  Work must be original (not copied from another work of art or published source), less than 3 years old and not previously exhibited in a Concourse Club Art & Photography Show.
2.  Printed reproductions will not be accepted.
3.  All 2-D work must be dry and wired for hanging using secure attachments.  Saw tooth hangers are not allowed.  Work must fit within a 48X48 inch footprint.
4.  3-D work must be delivered with a pedestal or be free standing
5.  It is the Artist’s responsibility to select the category.  However, some artwork may fit more than one category and the artist's selected category may be changed if the judge feels it is better suited for another category.  Decisions of the judge are final.
6.  Each artist is limited to 3 entries per Categories 1-5 and 1 entry for Category 6 (2019 Palmerton).
7.  No entry fee for Jr/Sr High entry.

Categories:
1. Oil/ Acrylic/ Watercolor
2. Works on Paper- Includes pastels, charcoal, pencil drawings, pen and ink
3. Photography- Includes black and white or color, digital or film photography, minimally enhanced by technology
4. Digital Art- Includes all forms of digital art including photography that has been greatly manipulated or altered by technology
5. Mixed Media - Includes but not limited to sculpture,  encaustic, jewelry, woodwork, weaving, gourd art, or artwork using two or more types of media in one piece
6. 2019 Palmerton  - Art depicting Palmerton Memorial Pool done in any of the above categories

Jr & Sr High Student Entry Awards Categories 1-5
First Place $25     Second Place $20      Third Place $15                                                    
If a category has less than six (6) artists participating,  only 1st place prize will be awarded in that category.

The Anita Harry Memorial Award $50
Any art in Categories 1-5.  Entries will be judged by the members of the Concourse Club Art Committee.  

2019 Palmerton Category Award:  $25
One award given to combined student and adult Categories 6 entries.  Entries will be judged by the members of the Concourse Club Art Committee.

Instructions:
1.  Register online by August 31    
2.  Submit a separate registration form for each piece of art.
3.  Deliver artwork to Sacred Heart Church Hall on Friday September 6th from 4:30 - 6:00 P.M.
4.  Registrations will also be accepted on  Friday September 6th from 4:30 - 6:00 P.M.
5.  Pick up art on Sunday September 8th between 4:00 -5:00 PM

Judged artwork is available for sale at the artist’s discretion. A commission fee of 20% will be collected by the Concourse Club from each piece sold to help offset operating costs of the show.  Judged artwork sold during the show must remain on display until the end of the show, Sunday September 8th 4:00PM
