IEEE University of Melbourne Student Branch is organizing the Unlock Xtreme Series to enhance the coding skills of the participants towards the annual coding hackathon, IEEE Xtreme 14.0. The registered participants will go through a scheduled program which includes workshops and webinars towards IEEE Xtreme 14.0 event:

a) Unlock Xtreme introductory webinar (https://youtu.be/sZ3OtmO7sU8);
b) Experience Sharing Session by  Previous Participants;
c) Pre-Xtreme Coding contests.
 
Mentorship will be given to the participants in various aspects to help them prepare for the IEEE Xtreme 14.0. The winners and most active participants of the pre-Xtreme Coding contests will be rewarded with certificates and vouchers sponsored jointly by IEEE Victoria Section,  Region 10 Student Activities Committee Fund and Student Engagement Grant at the University of Melbourne. The objective is to promote, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society, the participation across Victoria in the IEEEXtreme 14.0 competition by providing live programming sessions for practice (to write and debug code) and by organizing talks delivered by previous Xtreme winning participants to share coding strategies and tips for winning it again.
