Virtual Lessons are hosted on the BlueJeans video conferencing platform scheduled by the admin of the foundation. All other platforms used for lessons must have consent and approval from the parent and must be reported to the Center Director.

Private Lessons will be held at the Otis Redding Center for the Arts located in the Foundation building at 339 Cotton Avenue, Macon Ga 31201. Our facility utilizes closed circuit video monitoring of each instruction room.

Lesson Payment: All lessons, unless other arrangements are made, are paid on a monthly basis to the Otis Redding Foundation. In order for a student to continue their lessons at the Center, payment is due by the 3rd of each month. Failure to make payments on time will result in immediate lesson termination and the student will be taken off the schedule.

Lesson Cancellations: 24-hour cancellation policy
The student/parent must notify the Center of any lesson cancellation by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson. If such notice is not provided, the student/parent will still be responsible for payment and the lesson will not be rescheduled.

Lesson Rescheduling: The Center will do what it can to accommodate lesson rescheduling. It is recommended that lessons are rescheduled a week before the session date. Rescheduling will not be done the day of. If the instructor needs to reschedule a lesson, at least one week's notice will be given. In cases of emergency, exceptions will be made at the Center’s discretion.

Lesson Tardiness: If a student arrives late to their lesson, it will still end at its regularly scheduled time, with no makeup time permitted. If the instructor is running late, they will always ensure that full lesson time is received.

Likeness Agreement:

The Otis Redding Center for the Arts participant has consented to be photographed in conjunction with his/her participation in any and all Center for the Arts activities. Any photographs, audio recordings, audiovisual recordings and/or film footage of such performance relating to Center for Creative Arts together with the name and likeness of Otis Redding Center for the Arts Participant and all underlying music and lyrics or other material, is hereinafter referred to as the "Material".

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the undersigned hereby irrevocably consents to the use of the Material in whole or in part (including Center for Creative Arts Participant’s likeness and/or voice as contained therein, and the underlying musical composition or other material performed by Center for the Arts Participant) for use by The Otis Redding Foundation and/or the Estate of Otis Redding ("Licensees"), on websites (including, without limitation, on the website currently located at www.otisreddingfoundation.org).

Such rights include the right to edit the Material as reasonably determined by The Otis Redding Foundation, and to reproduce, copy, print, transmit, broadcast, publish, disseminate, publicly perform and digitally perform the Material, and are hereby granted under license non-exclusively throughout the universe for a period commencing on the execution of this Release through and including perpetuity and to use the undersigned’s name in connection with the foregoing, all without further compensation to the undersigned.

The undersigned further hereby forever releases The Foundation, the Estate, and their respective partners, affiliates, licensees and other designees from any and all claims, demands, and actions of any kind whatsoever arising out of the use or non-use of the Material and otherwise in connection with the exercise of rights contemplated under this Release. The undersigned shall execute promptly upon demand any and all further instruments deemed necessary or desirable to evidence the rights granted herein.
