Procedure for recertifications on the longarm
If you have not used the longarm in 8 months you must go through initial certification. There are numerous charity quilts in the cabinet. If you don't have a personal quilt to work on and you have not been on the longarm in almost 3 months. Please take a charity quilt to work on and meet the 3 month rule.
A recertification means you have worked on the longarm independently. A trainer will watch what you are doing and give constructive guidelines as you work.
As of March 1, 2024, the 2nd Thursday from 12-4 pm and the 4th Monday from 8-12 pm have been reserved for certifications. It does not have to be on just these dates.
Fill out the form if you wish to be recertified. Your name will be placed on a list in the order it is received. You will be connected by a trainer.
Once you have agreed on a date register online for the date noting the name of the person training you.
Certifications are done at the convenience of the committee members!
Certifications must be done on a charity quilt.
You will receive a confirmation for the webmaster.
