What are tourism day scholarships?
Outside of the normal convention scholarships, this is a streamlined process for a PSDP convention registrant to get a standard maximum reimbursement of up to $150 for Monday's Discovery Place Science entrance fee and transportation expenses, with receipts.
Details: The application period runs until March 24th with rolling approval. Register for the convention before completing this application. Tourism day scholarships are revocable until Monday, April 24th when a reimbursable expense occurs, at the sole discretion of PSDP's convention planning committee. These scholarships are only available for the individual's Discovery Place Science entrance fee and transportation expenses to/from the Hilton Garden Inn in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Transportation expenses may be limited to rideshare services such as Uber, taxis, mileage at 2023 federal rate for 25.2 miles each way, and parking, as applicable.
