TS. Nguyễn Thành Kiên (Australia)
Dr. Kien Nguyen is currently a Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT, Australia). He was a lecturer in School of Information and Communication, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Dai hoc Bach Khoa Hanoi) from 2005 to 2016. Dr. Nguyen’s research interest and expertise are applications of computer vision and deep learning techniques for biometrics, surveillance and scene understanding.
TS. Trần Anh Tuấn (Vietnam)
Tran Tuan received M.Sc. degree in Department of Mathematics and Informatics from HCMC University of Science, Vietnam, in 2010. In 2014, he received Doctorate diploma in Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Chonnam National University, Korea. Now, Dr Tran Tuan is a lecturer and data scientist in the university of science, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Besides, he has experience in the role of advisor for Computer Vision and Data Science projects of FPT Software, DMSpro and PNJ company. His major research interests are on Data Science (Machine Learning & Data Mining), and Computer Vision (Medical Image Processing, Object Tracking, and Deep Learning). His programming skills are R, Python, .Net, Javascript and PHP languages.
TS. Nguyễn Xuân Hà (Canada)
Ha X. Nguyen received the B.Eng. degree from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Korea, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, he joined Complex System Inc., Calgary, AB to develop and implement a computer-vision-based human behavior recognition system. Then he joined Wiivv Wearable Inc., Vancouver, BC for one year to develop algorithms to generate arch curves and foot length using images taken from mobile devices so a custom-fit insole/sandal can be designed and made. Currently he is at Ambyint Inc. as a Data Scientist. He builds different artificial intelligence models for automation and optimization in oil and gas field. His research interests span the areas of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, computer vision and big data.
