Special Education Task Force Survey
The NCETA Special Education Task Force is seeking information from our membership in order to make possible future recommendations to our bargaining team on mainstreaming and the inclusion model. Ultimately the district has the ability to decide the type of Special Education program to implement but we would like to collect member input so we can make informed decisions at future meetings. Because unit members have the right to bargain the impacts and effects of any changes imposed by the district, as an Association, it is important that we survey our members so our collective interests are aligned, prioritized and addressed.  Although the Special Education Task Force and the District have met several times, no decisions have been made regarding changes to current practices.  Please encourage all of your colleagues (special education, general education, support staff and preschool teachers) to take this survey.
