About the job:

Our channel 'Black Culture Unlocked' is one of the fastest growing video essay channels on YouTube, gaining over 100k subscribers within a couple months.

But now we are ready to take this growth to the next level and change the video essay genre. 

This is where YOU come in... 

We are looking for scriptwriters/researchers for our video essay's on black history, black culture, and black excellence.

Ideal candidate:
1. Passion for YouTube, storytelling, writing, researching and black culture/history

 2. You are consistent, act professionally and are a team player. This is a team effort and we must all work together to continually improve our video essays 

 3. You must be willing to adapt and learn. We are looking for new ways to improve our videos and learning/adapting is an essential part of this

Job requirements:

1. Great understanding of what makes a story engaging 

 2. You're organized, consistent and reliable 

 3. Deep knowledge and understanding of black culture and history

 4. Experience in writing 

 5. Driven and motivated to grow the channel as a team

From there we will do a test script to see if think you're a good fit for the channel.

If your application is successful and you begin to work side by side with us,  you will be paid $15-40 per hour or on a per script basis depending on your level of skill and expertise.

There will always be work available and you’ll be paid on PayPal as a freelancer.
