LGBTRC Peer Education Program Application
The LGBTRC Peer Education Program is an opportunity for students to get involved in community and help to create change around campus. As an educator you give presentations to different entities and bodies on campus and teach them about relevant social justice issues. You will get to work with not only your fellow peer educators but also the student interns at the LGBTRC who will guide you along on your own personal social justice journey and teach you the skills necessary to be an effective educator and activist within community. Our goal for you is that you leave this program with more confidence in educating on issues that the LGBT+ community as well as other marginalized communities face, as well as giving you the platform to influence the campus climate. We ask for about 5 hours per month, which is flexible to your needs. If you have any additional questions, please email us at rainbow@ucsd.edu! Thank you!
