Urban Youth Gardens (UYG) is a project funded by the
Erasmus+ programme, started in 2022. UYG is composed by four partners from
Greece, Italy and Malta i.e. IASIS and the Municipality of Egaleo from Greece,
European Grants International Academy Srl from Italy and PRISMS from Malta.
The main objectives of this project are:
1) The reconnection of young people with nature and helping
the young people to realize where their food comes from and what does it takes
for food to grow;
2) Increasing the sense of responsible, active
citizenship in participating young people and highlight the importance of
establishing and maintaining Urban Green Spaces for gardening;
3) Providing holistic, hands-on experience to youth
and youth workers that will benefit them in their personal and occupational
sphere;
4) Introduce the farm-to-fork concept and how we can
make use of that to fight global warming and food waste prevention.
Urban Youth Gardens is aimed to young people and the
questionnaire you are reading is helpful for us in order to understand your
interests, skills, views and ideas around the themes of:
1) Environmental
Sustainability and Urban Regeneration
2) Agricultural Activities that can
be developed in the area where you live.
These information will help us develop
subsequent UYG content and activities.
The questionnaire takes up to 5 minutes to be compiled
and data we will receive will be processed for project purposes only.
We thank you for taking the
time to fill out the form, we would also be happy to see you in the activities
that will be organized later as part of this project. To stay updated on these,
you can follow our website and our social pages.
