What solutions can we offer to safeguard our health and financial systems? How can society prepare for future economic uncertainties? How can we deal with the emerging big threat of climate change? Unfortunately, there are no easy answers to any of the above questions. However, at Ahmedabad University our MA Economics students are being trained to analyse these societal challenges and hopefully answer them in future. We are building an  intellectual environment driven by interdisciplinary and practical learning which fosters a deeper understanding of economics and social issues of the world today.
