Accessible Course Practices
Over the past year, students and instructors, both have had to adapt to online learning, which has not been an easy task. However, students have had the time to realize the merit of having recorded lectures. Lecture recordings have genuinely enhanced learning for so many students and we believe that it can also help promote accessibility in not only the next term but also all future terms to come.

We strive towards normalizing recording (audio or video) and uploading lectures even when SFU is running in-person. This is to keep the best of both worlds from our recent recovery on route to the post pandemic education for the following reasons:
- Students who are unable to attend lectures can still follow and participate
- Due to the diverse student community, students who have to work will not be pressurized in following two strict schedules instead of just one
- Allow students to keep up, revise and go back to whichever class they want to revisit.
