DESCRIPTION:
No Comment is a free year long filmmaking fellowship program. We will learn, discuss, dissect and hone the craft of and our love of motion picture. From its elemental components to its ethereal dreamlike attributes.
The first half of the program concentrates on still photography and documentary filmmaking. The skills developed in the first half of the program will  set you up for success for the narrative film production of the second half of the program. Our goal is for you to leave the fellowship not only having made your own films but also confident to make your next films. During the program you will be making your own individual documentary film and a collaborative narrative film that you will develop together with your cohort.

•Crew Roles and Responsibilities
•Editing
•Coloring
•Submitting to Film Festivals

14 students will be selected for the cohort to run from June 2021-May 2022. Each student is expected to invest their time, creativity, hard work and voice to the collaboration. We expect full respect and commitment of your time during designated meetings and production sessions. In return we offer immediate education benefits including industry professional instruction, access to professional film equipment and individualized instruction. With this crew you will produce original festival-ready films. This fellowship is not for the faint of heart! Grit + Communication + Commitment = Success!

REQUIREMENTS:                
Students (ages 16-19) are dedicated to the program and commit to:
- Virtual and in-person sessions in JULY
- AUGUST thru DECEMBER schedule will be at least one day after school and one Saturday workshop session
Additional time during the week to help meet deadlines set by the group via in person meetings or video/phone conference calls.
If you are a no call no show without prior communication you will no longer be part of the crew. We expect professionalism and clear communication with team members.
Students are willing to try new things, have a positive attitude and positively contribute to their team  
Students must receive parent/guardian consent to participate in the program and we encourage parent support for student success.
