This five day advanced course focuses on increasing practical knowledge in the field of hearing aid fitting for infants and young children. This pediatric course is designed for any professional who is already working with adults and wants additional training on the unique aspects of pediatric hearing aid fitting. The introduction and advancement of newborn hearing screening programs increases the number of children diagnosed with hearing loss as infants and creates a need for special skills and processes for working with this population and their families.
These practical skills will be trained in small groups with real patients.
Theoretical foundations will be provided or refreshed in a mandatory web based training prior to the practical course in Lübeck.Both webinars and a discussion forum provide online support and direct access to the lecturers.
