Sacred Headwaters Newsletter Feedback
Hi folks, thanks so much for joining me on this exploration. It's been 6 months since I started Sacred Headwaters and I thought I'd take a moment to collect some feedback from the group. Please don't hesitate to reach out by email, either, if you'd rather engage in a more free-form or interactive manner.

Do you think a more organized "Table of Contents" would be valuable? Substack's default page provides a list of posts, but it's not trivial to navigate, especially to older issues.

What other topics would you like to read about? What topics have we scratched the surface of that you'd like to look at more deeply?
I know not everyone has time to read a book every two weeks -- I haven't read all the books I've included either. But do you find the book recommendations useful? Specifically, have you read or do you intend to read any of the books I've recommended?
What's one way that your thinking has changed as a result of reading Sacred Headwaters?
While I've had conversations with many of you "offline," so to speak, the discussion threads haven't really taken off. I don't love the hierarchical relationship of author to reader and I think it can suppress emergent ideas. We have a community of people who are clearly engaged and thinking deeply about how we can create a better world. What, if anything, would make you more likely to engage in a discussion, or what other format would encourage you to engage as a community?
I'd love if more of you shared the newsletter with friends and colleagues. But what I'd love even more is for you to feel empowered enough to bring the issues you read about here to conversations with friends and colleagues. Do you talk about climate change with friends? Global inequity? Ecological collapse? If yes, what is that experience like for you? What tools do you need to help spread a deeper understanding of the systemic nature of our civilization's crises? If I'm not providing them, what can I do better?
Individual action is a complicated topic and I don't want this to come across as shaming in any way, but -- what have you done as a result of your involvement in this co-learning journey? Has anything changed? It's absolutely OK if the answer is, "I've become more informed," but I'm interested to hear how people are internalizing the information presented here. The difference between "knowing" and "understanding" is something we've talked about, and really, it's the fundamental gap that I'm trying to bridge through this project. To be blunt, I'd like to know if there's any evidence that I'm succeeding.
