Even though we love a very diverse ride and we dream of a future where we can transcend all differences, we completely understand riders from underrepresented groups in the cycling community wanting to organise trips where they feel safe. Some trip organisers may have limited the participation to specific groups (only women, queer peeps,…) either for personal reasons or to motivate underrepresented groups. Please make sure you are eligible! 😊

Bikepacking Buds makes a WhatsApp group for each specific trip. We encourage participants to join the WhatsApp group. This will help you coordinate yourselves, exchange ideas, discuss what to bring or not to bring, stay in touch during the ride in case something happens and share pictures.
