Expressions of Interest for Workshop Providers

The Nest Community is passionate about providing a nurturing space for women to connect through craft and share a common purpose. 

Our priority is to work with people or organisations that share our values of sustainability, hand making and skill sharing through projects that make the most of our reclaimed resources from The Nest Haberdashery.

By partnering with us, your workshops will reach our creative #memade community via our social media channels, newsletter and visitors to our haberdashery.  

Please complete this form to express your interest in becoming a preferred supplier in our workshop program.

** YOU NEED COMPLETE ONE FORM FOR EACH EACH WORKSHOP YOU INTEND TO OFFER.

Preference will be given to individuals, businesses or organisations that:

  • Offer recurring workshops. 

  • Align with our core values of hand making, sustainability, skill sharing.

  • Incorporate quality service delivery

  • Utilise our reclaimed resources from our haberdashery.

Subsidies may be available for beginner workshops:

  • Sewing

  • Rag Rugs

  • Coil Baskets

  • Embroidery

  • Knitting/ Crochet

As a preferred supplier you can run ticketed events:

  • Set your own prices and keep any revenue generated from your event.

  • Pay a hire fee $35 per hour + GST with min 3 hour hire

  • Manage your own bookings and cancellations policy via Eventbrite.

As a preferred supplier you will be required to:

  • Have your own Public Liability Insurance (we can assist with this)

  • Run ticketing through Eventbrite
