Gino Cattani is professor of strategy and organization theory at New York University Stern School of Business. His research examines what factors facilitate the generation of novelty (e.g., a technology or product) by focusing on the role of luck and strategic foresight in shaping innovation. He further examines audience-level characteristics that make their members more or less receptive towards novelty, including the type of novelty (incremental or radical) they are willing to promote and endorse.
