RoMHS Retention of Mental Health Staff Research Project: Stakeholder sign up
This project is an exciting collaboration between the University of Sheffield's School of Health and Related research (ScHARR), School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Management School funded by the Health Foundation over a three year period.
The research project aims to:
- Investigate variation in and determinants of mental health care staff retention.
- Better understand how organisational contexts and the experiences of registered health care staff in the workplace influence staff retention, and how these are associated with patient outcomes.
- The evidence will be used to form the basis of recommendations on how staff retention in mental health care can be improved across the NHS.
This project will be using a number of methods including reviewing the evidence which currently exists, analysing large routine data and conducting NHS organisation case studies.
The team are looking for a range of advisors to help shape this research project. You don't need experience just an interest in research and mental health staff retention!
