LLL Oxfordshire Antenatal Sign Up (2024)
Thank you for your interest in our online breastfeeding antenatal sessions.

The sessions are a one-off, so there is no need to attend more than one. We find it can be most helpful to attend in the latter stages of pregnancy, but please feel free to choose whichever date suits you best. You will receive the meeting invitation and more details by email nearer the time.

Our friendly, informal session is facilitated by experienced local La Leche League Leaders (volunteer breastfeeding counsellors) and will take you through:

* Why breastfeeding matters
* How to get off to a great start
* What to expect in the early days with your new baby
* How to get back on track if things don’t go as planned
* Where to find help and support.

By the end of the meeting we hope that you will feel well prepared for the early weeks of breastfeeding, and confident in your ability to meet your baby’s needs.

Your partner or other support person is warmly welcome to join the session.

*We collect information about those who attend our meetings:

1. So we know how many people we have had contact with, and whether or not they are LLLGB members.
2. To meet safeguarding requirements.
3. So we can get in touch with you after the meeting, if you give permission for this.

We will not keep any information about you for more than two years after you last attend a meeting, unless you ask us to.

Our meetings are free.  You might like to consider making a donation or  joining LLLGB to support our work. Membership costs £30 for a year (£18 for an unwaged family) and enables our volunteer Leaders to offer breastfeeding help by email, over the phone, via online chat, social media and more.  Members receive our popular publication "Breastfeeding Matters" every 2 months (choose between print and online versions), and get free use of all our meetings and libraries (usually £1 per borrowed book), as well as discounts at regional and national LLL events, when they can restart!
