Photography: Passion and Profession
With the evolution of digital photography, the camera-phone craze, and widely accessed social media platforms, the art of photography has entered a new, challenging, and exciting era. The increased competition calls for increased creativity and essential knowledge of professional workflow. This course offers students the opportunity to pursue their passion for photography while also balancing professional and commercial challenges. Students will be able to create digital portfolios that reflect creative photo essays as well as industry-standard shots: portraiture, stock photography, and commercial advertisements. Lessons on-camera tools, composition, and Photoshop basics paired with business essentials such as copyright law and creating a watermark will help develop the participant's personal and professional career in the field.
Workshop begins Every Tues. beginning 10/15-11/19 for 6 weeks.

Week 2: Basic Composition
Week 3: Depth of Field
Week 4: Angles and Tone
Week 5: Studio Lighting and Portraiture
Week 6: Photoshop Basics
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
*This program is a 6 week program that will Every Tues. beginning 10/15-11/19 for 6 weeks. 6 weeks from 4-6 every Monday
*Attendance is required. You will be required to attend all session, only one excused absence will be accepted.
*Program is at PSTV studios located at 440 N. Broad St.
*This program is open to any student enrolled at a school from 7-12th grade
*There is only 10 seats available. If we exceed the 10 seats we will put you on a waiting but list.
