ESHA webinar (29.01.2021 2PM CET) registration form

Inclusion of gender equality programs in education have been a topic in European schools for long now. ESHA partnered in Gender Equality Matters with The National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (Dublin City University) in Ireland, Social Action and Innovation Center (KMOP) in Greece, Fondazione Mondo Digitale (FMD) in Italy and University of Murcia - Group of Research in Educational Technology (GITE) in Spain.

The Gender Equality Matters (GEM) project received funding from the Rights, Equality and Citizenship (REC) Programme of the European Union in 2018. Its main aim is to tackle gender-based violence through a gender equality lens. Key themes that are explored in training relate to gender stereotyping, gender-based bullying and gender-based violence (GBV). These issues apply to all individuals but we know that there are groups who are more vulnerable to experiencing these issues, such as women and men subjected to violent situations inside or outside the home, and people in the LGBTI community.

This webinar will highlight the project outcomes of Gender Equality Matters with particular focus on the multimedia resources that have been collected, classroom materials for primary and secondary education and training manuals for teachers, parents and train the trainers which have been piloted in various schools all over Europe and the final conference which will be held in Dublin on February 11th and 12th 2021.

We wish to invite school leaders, teachers, parents and associate members who wish to broaden their views in terms of gender equality and to actively participate in this 5th ESHA Leadership Series Seminar.

Please register by filling out the form.
The ESHA office will personally send you all details for the webinar (login procedure and speakers) one week before the seminar.
