2023 Artemis GA Coastal Waterfowl Public Land Quota Hunt Registration
We are excited that you are interested in joining Artemis GA and we are looking forward to a fun few days together! To ensure we are all on the same page, here are a few specifics about the event:

What this is:
The GA Coastal Waterfowl Hunt Public Land Quota Hunt is an opportunity for three (3) women to come together and enjoy hunting waterfowl, experience the connection between Wildlife Management Areas and the conservation of Federally protected migrating waterfowl, and visit a Historic Georgia Plantation.

What this is not:
There is no guarantee of a harvest.  This is not a training event.  All Hunters are expected to provide their own equipment, transportation, lodging, and meals.

Date: Friday 1/20/2023 - Saturday 1/21/2023

Time: We will plan to meet up around 4pm on Friday afternoon to get acquainted and discuss the hunting plans for Saturday morning.

Location:  Will be revealed to selected participants

What to expect: There are 36 blinds.  25 will be open for this hunt.
Friday: meet at 4pm to finalize plans for Saturday's hunt.
Saturday:
4am Meet Waders on, ready to hunt; Lottery draw for blinds. Travel to our designated spot.
Pickup no later than noon.
Lunch and fellowship before depart for home.

Things to consider:
All lodging and meals will be at your own expense. Hotels and campground accomodations are available nearby.

When bringing a group of people who do not know each other together for a hunting trip, it is important that everyone feel safe. It is expected that you will be familiar with your weapon and firearm safety.  Anyone acting in an unsafe manner or causing others to feel uncomfortable will be asked to leave.

The cost of the hunt is $75 per hunter. Payment will be collected once notifications go out on 1/05/2023.

License and tag information: You are responsible for ensuring you are legal. Below is what we found on the Georgia Wildlife website.  Please be sure to check on your own.
