Body Systems Training for CHWs and Supervisors

Paralleled with community health worker/care coordinator standards as required as part of achieving and maintaining PCHI Model Certification and aligning with PCHI standard knowledge base core competency, PCHI is offering 28 hours of Body Systems training.  This training is an overview of basic anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine, nervous, and immune systems.  In addition, knowledge about pertinent health issues affecting the major body systems, including hypertension, diabetes, cancer, asthma, and oral health and healthy lifestyles and self-care are covered.
