Love our Seniors SG - Morale Booster Cards and Treats for our Isolated Seniors Collection 2021

Dear All, amidst these difficult Covid times, Love our Seniors SG (in collaboration with The Kindness Initiative SG) would like to invite everyone and/or their kids to:

a) draw some cards for isolated seniors that are stuck in community hospitals, elderly homes as well as that may be living on their own in the community - especially during this period of time ! The cards will be to remind and motivate them that we care, and you can include any special messages of your own ! :) Once you draw the cards, you can post/ drop them off at the address set out in the form below.

b) provide / sponsor any senior-friendly treats such as old-school snacks, soft biscuits, colouring books, puzzles, Sudoku, etc - to keep our seniors occupied ! :) If you are sponsoring the same, funds will be collected at our Ray of Hope link at https://rayofhope.sg/campaign/loveourseniorssg2021

c) subject to Covid restrictions, assist as a drop-off driver for some of the items collected :)

If you are interested to assist in any of the above, or in Love Our Elderly's usual calling befriender or other ad hoc volunteering opportunities, please do fill in your interest below.

This initiative will be ongoing for the period between 1 October 2021 to 31 December 2021.

1B) Please let us know what senior appropriate treats, you would like to sponsor, and how many. Please do not make any such purchase until we have contacted you to confirm that such items can be delivered. 1C) If you are able to assist with drop off of either the cards/ senior treats to the elderly homes, community hospitals or isolated elderly locations, please do indicate below. We will then to contact you to arrange when required. Thank you.

2) If you would like to join us as a phone calling befriender, please let us know the frequency below. (**Do note that for calling befrienders, it may take more time for training and to be matched to an appropriate senior. In addition, commitment level to such initiatives should be at least 6 months.)

3) If you would like to join us as a general senior befriender for any other activities that we may have from time to time, please indicate the activity that you may be interested in below. Such activities take place on ad hoc basis, are subject to ongoing Covid restrictions, and we will keep you on our mailing or messaging list to share more from time to time. (**Feel free to indicate more than one, and to join us as and when you are available)

Online Activities with our Seniors, such as Seated Yoga Exercises or Singing Sessions etc

In Person Activities at different Care Centres or residential areas of need, with a variety of activities that we may engage in from time to time
