Farmersville Market Policies:
The Farmersville Market is held the first Saturday of each month (except October and January), at the Historic Onion Shed and surrounding area.

All vendors must follow the policies set by the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce. Vendors must follow pertinent federal, state, and local laws and ordinances; and they must exhibit appropriate vendor behavior. Failure to follow rules may result in loss of the privilege to be a Farmersville Market vendor. All products sold at the market are subject to applicable local health and state/federal licensing and taxing regulations, and the burden of compliance is individually placed on each Market vendor.

NOTE: No loud music or firearms. Management reserves the right to restrict any item's sale, display, or distribution to keep a wholesome and moral environment. Animals must be in crates or on a leash at all times and owners are required to clean up after pets.

A state sales tax permit is REQUIRED for vendors (unless exempt). The name of the vendor must match the Tax ID number on file. To apply call 1-800-252-5555 or get an application online: https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxpermit/

Vendors set up starting at 7 AM and no later than 8:30 AM. You will need to notify the Executive Director, Marissa Tucker, no later than 8:15 AM if you are going to be late or you could lose your spot. Cars will not be allowed in the loading areas after 8:30 AM.

Market Open hours are from 9 AM – 3 PM. Vendors MUST remain in their spaces until 3 PM.

Parking and Loading (our staff will not always be able to assist in loading and unloading):

If your space is in the Onion Shed: please drive up close to the Onion Shed on the appropriate side to unload, and then move your car to park it. During loading and unloading, we treat the roads next to the shed as one way- enter from Main Street. After the market, pack your items first and then bring your car to load. This will help us to move cars in and out quickly.

Public parking is available on city streets and in nearby city parking lots.

Public Restrooms: These are available in the city park on the south side of the Onion Shed or porta potties on the north side.

Onion Shed Location: 154 S Main St, Farmersville, TX 75442
